The All-New Mazda MX-30 represents new values and every detail has been rethought. The number 30 is an indicator of the positioning of the All-New Mazda MX-30 in the Mazda model range.

RANGE

DO WEATHER CONDITIONS (HEAT OR COLD) AFFECT THE RANGE OF THE MAZDA MX-30?

CHARGING

HOW DO I CHARGE MY VEHICLE?

It’s easy, and the same procedure as with every other electric vehicle. You plug it into your wallbox at home or at any public charging station in your area. Using the wallbox is highly recommended, as it offers you the convenience of charging from the comfort of your own home. You may also plug it into a normal electric socket although this is the slowest method of charging and not recommended as a regular way of charging.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE MY VEHICLE?

When charging the all-new Mazda MX-30, up to 80% can be charged in approx. 30-40 minutes via the CCS connection (50kW). When charging with a wallbox (AC), the battery can be fully charged within 5 hours. We recommend a wallbox for comfortable charging at home. As an emergency solution, you can also charge the vehicle with the charging cable using a regular domestic socket.

What type of connector does the new Mazda MX-30 have? Can I charge my vehicle at any charging station?

The vehicle can be charged at any public charging station with a CCS or type 2 charging plug. It can also be charged at home at the wallbox (mode 3) or at a household socket (mode 2).

Is there a difference between charging with alternating current and direct current?

Direct current (DC) is normally only used in industrial environments. Alternating current (AC) is used in most households. Nowadays, alternating current is the most commonly used type of electricity and is preferred for charging your vehicle overnight or when you are not in a hurry. On the road, you may prefer to charge your vehicle at a quick charging station. More and more of these are being installed. Quick charging stations use direct current to ensure that the battery is recharged quickly.
